Mold and Indoor Air Quality Assessment

Florida's humidity makes moisture problems common. A mold assessment looks for the source of the moisture as well as the growth, so you know what you're dealing with and what to fix.

The details

Good to know before you book.

01

Find the water, fix the problem

Mold needs moisture. The assessment focuses on where the water is coming from, because cleaning without fixing the source just brings it back.

02

Who performs it

Mold and indoor air quality assessments are performed by a Florida-licensed mold assessor from Highland Pest Control, scheduled through Stage Building Inspections so it fits around your home inspection.

03

Assessment and removal are separate

In Florida, the company that assesses mold for a project should not also remove it. You get an independent assessment and choose who does any remediation.
